Knowledge transfer on-site. In this technical advisory for the Vélez-Málaga City Council, we supervised the execution of triple-layer structural tile vaults, a geometry of technical inertia that defies gravity through the balance of forces.

We managed hybrid solutions using laser-cut polystyrene formwork, allowing for contemporary precision in an ancestral technique. On-site training for workers focused on the mastery of traditional placement techniques (“restregón” and “espiga”), ensuring that living materials —brick and gypsum— work in perfect structural harmony. A resolution of complex structural encounters where vernacular architecture meets modern technical logistics.
